Midtown Dickens play an outdoor show for WKNC's Fridays on the Lawn series at NC State. The always fun folkies will be joined by the gloriously nervy rock OF Butterflies. FREE
Future Islands - Visual Arts Building, Penn State, State College, PA - 5:30 p.m.
Future Islands fill the headlining spot for this year's Arts Crawl at Penn State. It's a celebration of great music close to the college, and Future Island's gritty dance rock charm should make it one to remember.
